"The teams already great, I tell them what to do and they do it!"
It's a well established concept that teams go through stages of development and sometimes 'stick' at a certain point for various reasons or even take backward steps (usually when changes occur).
Because every team is different even when they carry out the same function, we do not offer a standardised course.
First steps
Our first action when considering how to help a team develop it's capabilities further is always to question and where possible observe. Initially we will ask both the manager and team members about their roles, capabilities, perceived strengths and weaknesses and future development. We never just take a managers word for it that a team is 'already great' or 'so experienced they can't get any better' or even 'a bunch of plodders but that's all they need to be'. (We've heard all of these).
If your team is genuinely so good that we feel we can't help, we will tell you! We don't want to waste your time and money by trying to deliver either the impossible or the unnecessary!
Where we feel that we can assist your team's development, we will outline a plan for you to consider including all relevant costs. This plan is produced at zero cost to yourselves and in no way commits you to the action outlined.
Once the action plan is agreed, we decide on a schedule and make any necessary location bookings. At this point we are committed to you and you to us.
Payment
Payment for team-building is made via invoice raised by us at the end of the course. Payment is to be made within 30 days except by special arrangment with us.
On site (at your location) team-building incurs a cancellation/date amendment fee of £100 if less than two weeks notice is given. Cancellations or amendments advised more than two weeks in advance do not incur a fee.
Off site team-building at a location booked by us incurs a cancellation/date amendment fee as above * plus any location costs that accrue.
* Location costs that accrue are not able to be waived once the booking has been confirmed regardless of the amount of notice given.
Ongoing development
Team development is an ongoing process rather than a one hit solution, therefore our plans always include follow up actions and further development for you and the team to consider whether with us, by yourselves or even with an alternative provider.
